Wheels for my mopars. What are the options.

I have 4 mopars. 2 of them have traditional rallye wheels. 1 has a set of keystone classics and the other 1 has who knows what crappy looking wheels.

I want to stay around 15x7 or 14x7 inch diameter and width.
What are my options when trolling e-bay or just looking in the local paper?
I know there is more than just rallyes and magnum 500s out there, or am I wrong?
If so then, what brand of wheels offer these sizes?

I guess my question comes down to this.
Shouldn't there be many brands and styles to choose from that will fit our mopars?

Sure is! Where is ummm 1BAD68? He has a flat black Charger on black steelies (or at least was, think it's on Magnums now) that looks BEAUTIFUL!

Maybe try Cragars...or Slotted mags or Vectors??

Those aren't Cragars . Those are Keystone Klassics .

A lot depends on whether you want the cars to be period correct or not. What years are we talking here? As you probably know the rallye wheels didn't show up until 1970 so that might effect your decisions depending on what years your cars are.

My cuda have the same wheels, forget how they are named, but are drag wheels.
Mine are original '70 period 15 inch wheels.
Not a big fan thou. I am hooked on polished slotted mags

i used to call that style "centerlines" if they were solid and had no spokes...usually that dull stainless looking finish too..
i don't care for them at all never did... i like the look of the keystones best but they are expensive and very heavy...
cragers are good, so are the american torque thrusts, but for your era chargers,.. early to late '70s I think Slots look great.
the vectors like you see on the jenny lees are ok too - kinda' rare on that year charger but period correct.
the dog dishes are cool for a stripped down factory look when painted body color.
they're were a few other styles avail back then that are no longer reproduced but you could probably find some at swap meets or e-bay...

I think dog dish cups and chromed ring.... if you are goong with high impact color, would also match the wheels with body color. If not, simply shine black

How do you reburbish these types of wheel?

I am also interested in wheels that would not be period correct. With the scores of wheels availabe I would think there is something I would really like in the new styles.

heh.  i think black steel wheels are  check the bottom of page 72 on post a picture of your ride.

Cut the welding points between center and ring, rechrome ( or polish ) center, use a wider ring, chrome the new ring, weld back and balance


Now you would say... why don't you buy new ones ? because I can't right now from Venezuela. Thats the worst part, mostly sure will pay allmost the same to make this job than get new ones

I used to love center lines back in the day , not so much anymore
   favor crager ss's  now

Hell yes.  Fresh paint, and some nice chrome hubcaps, and you got the perfect wheels.
