Long story short, guy has right hand drive on car lot, two guys take it for a test drive, never come back. ID was fake so that was no help although the driver was missing two fingers on his left hand. So the guy made his first post on a car website telling people to keep an eye out for it. Hours later a mod of the forums spots the bloody car driving around and even happens to snap a picture of the driver! Sure as shit its the same guy! Very next day another mod follows the guy HOME with the car and delivers an address to the owner of the car who forwards it on to the police and the guy is caught!

Better yet the owner of the car is AUCTIONING OFF stuff the thieves left in the car!

Heres the jest of what happened.
The vehicle was stolen from Envision Auto on Wednesday, March 26th, 2008 on a test drive.  I posted up pictures of the stolen car and a description of the individual on www.Beyond.ca - a forum for car enthusiasts, primarily based out of Calgary.  What happened next was a member saw the stolen car driving the next day, took pictures of the thief, posted them on the web.  It wasn't long before his Facebook account was found and then his home address.  There was a 3am gathering of forum members before the final showdown at 7:30am in the morning.  In the meanwhile the other forum members on Beyond.ca took matters into their own hands by fully humiliating the guy and posting photoshopped images of him from all across the web

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

"Lobster Boy" :smilielol:

A couple of years back on the local rock station they had an intern on every day during the morning show.  They'd send him out to do foolish things and report back, pick on him all the time etc., etc.

He came back from a week off and was sunburnt and the name "Lobster Boy" stuck ever since.
