I am getting ready to do this, the set up that I got has new spindles with it.  My question is do I need to take out the torsion bars or can I just put the car on stands and use the jack to lower the lower arm?

Thanks for the help
Josh

terrible one

When I did mine, I didn't touch the t-bars. I did like you said, jacked the LCA up to take tension off of the spindle, unbolt it from the ball joint arm thingy, then let the jack and LCA back down and you're safe.

:iagree: Shouldn't be a need to take out the torsion bars.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
