Help please?  Can I change oil pan to front sump and are motor mount casting compatible ?  I have a good 318 that I want to install in my Daytona clone, but I have doubts. Thanks in advance for a reply. Rick

yes, itll fit as long as you do 2 things:

First, change the oil pan and motor mounts over to one for your car, actually, i think ive still got a stock pan around here somewhere thats in decent shape, if you want it, ill sell it cheap!
Second: You'll probably need to change the exhaust manifolds to ones for a car.  This however im not 100 percent sure on, depends on  the year truck i believe.  i also have a spare set of those lying in the garage shelves too. pm me if interested.

hope this helps

Sure it will work Rick....all V-8 k frames are the same (except the hemi, of course). A smallblock and bigblock will interchange, no problem.  :2thumbs:

The oilpan and engine brackets will need to be swapped out and you will also need the right motor mounts (biscuit style) but it will drop right in.  :yesnod:

Don't forget to swap out the oil pickup tube.
