:shruggy:   I put a 3000 stall in my car but still don't have the kick down linkage hooked up.  When I put it in gear it drops some RPM's and if I give it gas it starts going as if there is not a stall converter at all.  The engine does not rev up, it just starts going.   Am I getting to much pressure to the tranny because of the linkage not being hooked up ?   Thank's,   Chuck.......

I have a 3000-3500 stall in my car and you don't really know its in there untill you  stomp it then it flashes its stall speed. Mine also does the same thing when i drop it in gear. but I would be hooking that kick down up, or it will fry the clutches.

does the rpm flash higher when your rolling along at idle and hit the gas? can you footbrake the stall higher?
