Hey gang...
Is there a troubleshooting site to go to for Windows problems.. All of a sudden my DVD D: drive doesn't work and the dang E: CD-RW won't load..

The D: DVD cpu indication light doesn't flash when I install the DVD... Not sure if that means it's dead..........  Grrrrrrr

Sounds like a driver problem check out this site for drivers

You don't have driver problems with two drives at the same time unless you have some serious hardware problems. I'm guessing that the CPU needs a good blow job. Go out and buy some compressed air and clean the cooler for the cpu. If this doesnt work, Take the cooler fan off of the chip and clean and replace the dilithiam <SP> grease between the chip and the fan.

The problem lies in the new house Troy.

New house.

New TV.

Need NEW computer. See the electrical system in the house senses that its an older computer, and is messing with it.

The first step would be to reboot the computer.

While its rebooting before it starts windows, look to see if the motherboard "sees" the drives.
