I'm talking about the rubber seal that goes inside the rear window.  Does anyone make this?  I looked through paddock and year one and couldn't find it.  Maybe I overlooked it.  Any ideas?

There is no rubber seal on 3rd gens for the glass....front or rear....they use butyl tape to seal the window....likely use urethane now

Huh...  Body guy just asked me if I could find one.  Maybe I misunderstood what he meant  :shruggy:

Maybe he's referring to the roof rail weatherstrip....runs along the top roof area of the side windows??

Urethane is the best way to go . Same stuff they use on Modern cars .

You can buy it at any auto parts store, can't remember if I used urethane or butyl when I did mine several years ago. I know it came in two different thicknesses. Get the thicker stuff, it will help make up for the imperfections in the window channel, also  if you use the smaller roll the trim for the window might sit above the window instead of touching it.

Turns out he meant the trunk seal.  Not sure how he got them confused, but hey, whatever; trunk seals are easy :)
