I've been looking for a good pic of a 69 triple black charger r/t with with black steel rims and redlines. If any one has one I would love to see one. Just bought a 69 charger r/t track pack car thats a factory black car with black vinyl top with black interior stripe delete car.
Thanks Ryan

congrats...  welcome,.. details?.. Pictures?..  :popcrn: how and where did ya' find it and in what condition?..

triple black chargers are pretty popular, mine was that way once,..
anyhow the photoshop thread has alot of various workups of folks imagined paintjobs... amng them was this one but there are alot more among that threads 21 pages,.. there are also 4 x Black chargers that have the interior top paint and stripes done in black...  :drool5:

have fun with it, it's a favorite thread of mine. and again welcome and congrats!!

Thanks, that's exactly what mine will look like. Along the the way my vinyl top was taken off and I think I almost like it better off :scratchchin:.  I just bought it about a week ago and have stripped it all down to a bare shell. Now it's at the sand blasting shop having the floors, trunk, jams, engine bay blasted. It's had a rough life and has seen better days.

very cool,. I resized the pic so that it would fit the frame and also this Beautiful example has the extremal rare passenger side mirror and the rocker trim... I also noticed upon closer examination  :scope: it appears to be missing the radio mast...  :shruggy:
Anymore info about your car like the options/fender tag and of course pictures are welcome,.. and I'm sure Chris would like the Vin for his '69 registry.. be sure to visit his site and here's another relevent thread for you..

I agree that is a real nice combo with the red stripe. Mine has the red r/t badge on the side of the quarter.  I thought about putting on a flat black like the one in my attachment, but probably should keep it original and keep the red r/t badge.

Why not add the flat black 70 stripe on it and put your red R/T badges over it   :yesnod:

However, if it was  otherwise stock and you change the car by making that one very noticeable deviation it would essentially be a sore thumb... standing out for either praise or criticism..
Removing or even adding a Vinyl Top wouldn't attract as much attention, it depends on your taste and goal I guess,.. but all things are up to the individual building the ride... triple black '69 v-88 (stripe delete) R/Ts are rare enough I'd return it to stock appearing, however stealthy mechanical efficiencies are allways better..  :icon_smile_wink:

Ryan, is your Charger by chance also an S.E. (special edition) ?

I made a model of that exact car :yesnod: :yesnod:. I'd say try to keep it as original as you can.  :yesnod:

Thanks guys for all the pics, your probably right about keeping it as correct as I can and thats just what I'll do. It's just the r/t version not the r/t s/e. Wish it was an s/e with power windows and power sun roof  :drool5:.  1. I love those sunroof cars!!  I have it on the rotisserie so the underside can get blasted as well. I've never painted the underside of my car before but I going to do it with this one. Instead of painting it gloss black I'm going to paint it with a grey paint to make it look like primer and then have the black over spray all over it. I'm still going to drive the heck out of it :2thumbs:. I'll post some pics of it real soon. The model is what my car will look like to the T. Thanks again for the pics and advise.

Man it's good to have this board back![/font] :icon_smile_big:
But wow! I guess I need to dump that tripple black combo I thought of if everyone else does it, its out.
I'll have to come up with something better :coolgleamA: haha. but tripple black does look good in some of these pics.  O0
