Congrats to Green Bay. :2thumbs:
If my Cowboy's can get past NY, we'll see ya next week.

Being a Packer fan I would like to stay as far away from a Dallas home game as possible. At least we survived the 1st quarter and got a good win today.

It should be a good game between the Cowboys and the Giants tommorow.  :yesnod:

I'm hoping the Giants win. We will kill the Giants. Dallas will be a game of who makes the least amount of mistakes.

I have been an avid Packer fan all my life since I grew up in New Berlin Wi. My next door neighbor who is a good buddy of mine is from out East and is a Giants fan. He has already left smack on a voicemail over here.

I can say that after about the last 12 years or so of going to Dallas and getting beat that it is a relief they will be playing at home.

Already counting out the Chargers are we?  Ya, ya i know....

Its too bad the superbowl cant be played outside in the North where there would be some weather to help the open stadium teams.

:soapbox: I am convinced the guys that run the NFL are a bunch of F#@&in panzies - they have some bull#$@$ reason why it always has to be in the Southern states. I can't even remember what it is. At one time I knew but it is so lame and pisses me off so much I put it out of mind.  :RantExplode: :fireangry:

Wife is a HUGE Packers fan (converted me, unless they play the Steelers :D) and we had a blast watching football the way it should be played, in the elements!

They did play in Detroit two years ago when the Steelers won. That's a dome stadium so same difference with the weather not being a factor though.

DOH. Shows how much I pay attention to these things.  :slap: :-\

Maybe its the dome thing that I was thinking kept it in the Southern states then.

Oh well, back to our regularly scheduled program.

CRAP!!!!!!!   :brickwall:   :brickwall:   :brickwall:

It looks like the Packers offense was out of it in the second half.  At least we dont have to watch the Packers get killed in the Superbowl.  :slap:

I was saying all along they wouldn't play that well with the weather being so crappy cold. I was right. I don't think Farve can handle it as well as he used to when he was younger. I know I can't.

Congrats to the Pats for winning the Superbowl.  I don't see the Giants being able to stop them.  Damnit.

Yeah, home field advantage for the Packers is not the same as it once was as far as weather is concerned. The Giants handled the weather better and played a good game. I hope the Giants give the Pats a little competition.

The Giants should have beat the patriots in week 17. I think it will definately be a close game.

nh_mopar_fan

I have to say that I have a new found respect for Rivers. That guy is one tough SOB. He barely stepped onto the practice field all week and yet was out there leaving it all on the field. I don't think he hurt his team any as some of the commentators were saying at halftime. I'd rather have had him out there than Volek. Same goes for Gates. Big toes are very painful and playing in that temp isn't going to help.

Now, for LT, can someone check for a heartbeat? This guy practiced nearly all week and WASN'T EVEN LISTED ON THE INJURY REPORT. He was good to go. 3 plays and he parks himself, with helmet and coat on, next to the heater for the rest of the game.

If you listened closely to some of the comments from his teammates after the game, it didn't appear that any of them were all too happy with that.

I couldn't stand to be in that weather for that long.
I work in walk in freezers at -10 degrees and can only stay in for about 10 minutes.
Those guy's had to be freezing.
