Well, since you asked... :scratchchin: I'd put a big block in it and keep the Satellite emblems. You definately don't see alot of those. But do what makes you happy.

That's what I'd do in your position.

Although, if I had the money, I'd buy it, clone it into a RoadRunner, and give it to my dad as a belated retirement gift.

What a great gift that would be. My very first car was a 68 GTX.

I'm going a slightly different route.  I have a 70 Satellite I'm fixing up.  I installed RR taillights and a Go-Wing, but then shaved all the body-side moldings and emblems.  If anybody asks what it is, I'll just say "It's a Plymouth."

So since no one else has asked yet, how much do you want for it as-is?

Probably around ten. This car is rock solid, really clean pans and all original metal.

Keep it a Satellite and drop a 440+6 between the fenders.   :D

[the connection at first......but you're right!!! - It does resemble "olive drab" doesn't it??  The painted bumpers also give it that military look as well  :yesnod:

This will clear it up a little. I think Hawkeye would drive it.

P.S......I SUCK at Photoshop.

Actually with the painted bumper and color it looks pretty cool as a military type muscle car. I wonder how many Sats the Pentagon bought back in '68??

That's the thing with a flip. If you want 10K now how much would you expect to get as a Roadrunner clone. Say you spend 20K doing the clone you need to get $30k just to break even. You will also eliminate a tons of buyers that may have been able to pull the trigger at 10K but not 30K. Just something to keep in mind.
