Hi all!
I have been looking around for a while, to find the best choice of radiator for my 68. Gotta be an aluminum rad, and i am a quality freak :shruggy:
I see rads from little over 200 usd, up to the BeCool kit, to somewhere in the ballpark of 17-1800 usd. Any suggestions guys? Is the BeCool rads good enaugh to justify the gap in price?
It will be for a aluminum hemi, and manual tranny.

Thanks for input Alan, but not what i was looking for.

I will refrase the question a little: Is the Be Cool kit as good as the price tag say, or are there other ones as good??
Its job will be to keep an abused aluminum 750 hp hemi cold, and look good doing it!!

I have not seen the ad in a while, but they used to say the BE COOL rads. were good to something like 800 HP.

I have also heard that EVENS COOLANT will bring down temps. I would love to hear from someone that IS or HAS used it.

Thanks
They say up to 1000 hp on the dual core now.
Since they are in buisness now, and has been for a long time, with that price tag, it has to be either a very good radiator, or a very clever  marketing dep. :shruggy:
Gotta assume that they´re good.

Most of the BeCool radiators are just 2" thick core crossflow radiators which is the same thickness of the $1-400 radiators on eBay. Most of their higher horsepower radiators have the same dimensions, they just bigger fans that put out more cfm. The radiator core usually ends up being smaller with a crossflow radiator because they have to make it narrower to fit the stock brackets on the side. Plus you have to make modifications to your radiator hoses and transmission lines. BeCool makes downflow radiators now,  but they are expensive for their size. If you search on eBay or google, you can find a custom made in USA downflow radiator for cheaper. The core is the same thickness as the one 69ChargerR/T posted so it probably won't cool any better. If you want the best, I would recommend looking into Griffin radiators. They make radiators in 2.25" and 2.5" cores to give you more cooling capacity and look much better. If you paint them, they will look like a stock radiator.

Looked up the Griffin wbsite, and that looks to bee really nice stuff. A dual pass rad from them should do it!! :2thumbs:
Thanks for help
