Vinylroof Charger -68

[Belgium R/T -68]

Since I will put on a vinylroof on my -68 although it didn't came with one I'm
wondering if the clips for the windshieldmolding is assembled after the v-roof
or doesn't the vinyl gets into the windshield frame?

You must really like vinyl tops to go through the hassle of putting one on a car that never had it. I'm the opposite. I'd just as soon remove those nasty moisture traps and leave them off but then I managed to find a Charger that never came with one.

At any rate, to answer your question, I do believe the window frame goes on after you install the vinyl top to help hold it down.

I just pulled mine apart.  The clips that hold the trim, around the windows, were put on after the vinyl was glued down.
