im looking at putting aftermarket gauges in my charger. can i use the stock cable or do new speedometers have a different connection?
anyone who has changed out their gauges for autometer gauges please help.

The '68 speedo has a push-on cable connector, the aftermarket speedo will have threads. A '66 or '67 Mopar cable will have the correct threaded ends as will many GM cables.

i looked into it a little more and i think ill go with an electric speedo. anyone got any suggestions on that?
also does anyone make plain clusters that would take the place of the factory one? just a simple design that i could cut the gauges in where i want them
