As I anticipate the delivery of my 68 Charger R/T this next week I wanted some viewing material.   I am new to the sight and I think this is my first post.  Back to the question has anyone watched this DVD?  http://cgi.ebay.com/AMERICAN-MUSCLE-CAR-DODGE-CHARGER-DOD-DVD-NEW-SEALED_W0QQitemZ150185770398QQihZ005QQcategoryZ617QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem?_trksid=p1638.m118  Is it any good and does it focus on the Viper more than anything else etc?  Thanks and I like the sight and have been watching it for a week.

Welcome! And it sounds like a nice Christmas gift coming your way too. Did someone mention the word pictures (when is arrives, that is)?

I have that dvd and recommend it. I think the viper part is the same length as the charger part. the dvd is approx 50 mins long so i guess about 25 mins each?

bull

If it's the DVD I'm thinking of it is comprised of segments from the cable TV show, American Muscle Car (Speed Channel maybe?) where they feature certain cars for what basically amounts to 30 minutes of TV time, so probably 22 minutes or so. The one I have features the Charger, Viper and Dart in three seperate segments. It's a pretty good show. They cover some of the history of the car and interview "experts" who add their two cents. Some of the info is not real accurate but it's cool to see some nice Chargers doing their thing.

My wife got my copy at WalMart I think. It was like $5 or $6. If your copies are like mine you can't fast-forward ro rewind or skip to certain spots like a normal DVD so that's kind of a pain. I guess they don't really go all out on the production since it's dirt cheap.

I received the DVD the other day. The shipping was very fast. It was three sections Dart-Charger-Viper. I watched the Charger part that was about 25 minutes worth. It started with a silver/red Hemi '66. There was some NASCAR footage and a storyline of how the Charger came about and how it compared to other models. It seemed the 1st gen part was the longest. Then it went on to the 2nd Gens - mostly 68 some 69. Then for the 70 model they talked about the wing cars. There were some cool shots of NASCAR races and one shot of a car being put in a wind tunnel with a crane. The was a small part on the 3rd gens too. Not a lot, but some. It was a good DVD. The picture quality was great. For the price I would recommend it.
