Does anybody know of any engine shops or places that specialize in these engine in North Jersey. I have tried all I can to find my problem and I believe it is time for a professional.

Thanks, does anybody know any shops closer to Bergen County, I would have to drive the car there and I don't really trust it to go too far.

Bordin,

Have you tried a new carb yet? I remember your issues and im sure with a little patience and checking everything individually youd be able to figure it out.

BTW im still up for taking a trip up there when the weather is nice and trying a few things.

I haven't tried a new carb yet, but I bought a rebuild kit and a good family friend said he would rebuild mine. His car is parked down the street right now at my uncles house, but they are at the Giants game.

Hopefully it wasn't one of his cars that I heard that caught fire at the stadium.  Supposedly on the State police radio, two cars were on fire.  Eagles fans maybe?   :smilielol:

John, isn't that Mike Bonsanti over in Morristown?

Although I've never used him before, I hear he's very good. But, rumored that he's expensive?  :shruggy:

Yes..that's Mike....no one knows Mopar engines better around here.  He does all the FAST class racers too. I don't really know what his labor rate is.

I was searching moparts and looked through my PM's from around easter and he sent me one, apparently he lives in my town.

When he did my distributor recurving, I think it was about $75 or $85 an hour.

John, is he doing your motor for the orange daytona?

I am hoping the engine won't need to be done....my original intent is to re-gasket it and put it back together.
