Positive battery cable question?

I'm going to replace my positive battery cable on my 1969 383 charger. I'm not completely anal about the engine bay being correct. But I want it to look good. I've seen the positive cables in year one for $200+, E-bay/Layson's for about $100. Also I see that Mopar is making them for 71-72 BB B-bodies for about $25. I don't know 3rd gens that well. Why won't these fit on a 69? Relay location? Also if anyone made their own cables do you have any pic's of yours?

Thanks, Larry

I e-mailed Rick twice last year about cables before i found out A&M had them...never heard back from the guy. Obviously doesn't need the business.

Rick moved to Washington state last year and was MIA for a while. When he first got there I don't think he had found a place to get the materials he needed to make the cables and he wasn't online at all. Bill's cables are obviously more correct so it really depends on the look you're going for (ie concourse restoration or just a cable to have something to put on the car).

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Troy,
I carry 2 different level battery cables
one correct and one driver quality - #130 versus  $75
Someone called this week about a cable, But I accendently deleted the info.
So if the caller happens to read this , call me again
