replaced the master cylinder on my sons  95 Dakota truck. got a new one not re manufactures one, bench bleed it until no more bubbles through the tubes we used to bleed. installed it, hooked up lines, made sure  the cylinder was full of brake fluid. started bleeding lines at the wheels. everything seemed normal, got some air at all 4 bleeders. made sure the brake pedal didn't go to the floor. The problem is I keep getting air out of the front bleeders, gone through quart and half of brake fluid, still getting air. Any suggestion? The truck does have anti-lock brakes.

is the pedal solid, doesn't sink to the floor when pressing as hard as you can? sometimes if the bleeder screw is opened up too much then it seems like air bubbles. if the pedal does sink sounds like the lines are loose or the master wasn't bench bled enough.

to bench bled the master, i plug off the outlets and just pump the piston. seems weird but when the master is bled, you can't move the piston anymore. just pump slow as to not aerate the fluid.

i also run a cleared plastic line from the bleeder screw. run it up from the bleeder screw to above the master cylinder height. i then open the screw and pump slowly until no more air comes out. leave the screw open while pumping. you can see the bubbles rise and the the fluid slowly fill the line. when there are no bubbles that wheel is done, move on to the next.
