I just saw this on the local news. There is apperentley a group of people wanting to change Santa. They think Santa is a bad role-model (sp?) for kids because of his weight! They want Santa to go on a diet and slim down. Like, what the hell are people thinking?

Vote!!! And get everyone else out there to vote and become at least a little active in OUR countries political process! Complaining (like fighting) on the internet is nearly pointless. Do you think that your mayor, govenor, congressman or senator looks at dodgecharger.com to change there policies? I would hope not.

can anyone arguing here tell me where "santa" came from, and oll of the evolutions "he" had over the years (way older than you may think)?

Now for the other side of the coin. I am an atheist, and I respect the beliefs of others. Basically I don't care what a person believes in as long as they are a "good person". I also believe in OUR country and in the separation of church and state. If "everyone" got out there to have there voice heard through the peaceful means of OUR political system, and the over all majority said contrary to my personal beliefs, then I would have two choices. 1 live with it until the country changes (it always changes). 2 find another place on earth to live.  I wish the best of luck in your peaceful inputs into OUR political process this year and the years to come.
