Is anyone running 235/70-15's on the front? Namely on a 3rd gen. I am running 255/60-15's on the front and 275/60-15's on the rear right now. It's time for new tires and if the 235/70's fit OK on the front I can put that size in the trunk on the spare and have all five tires the same height. 235/70 and 275/60 are the same height tire. The spare has to be the same height as the rears to keep the diff from having fits if the spare ever has to go on the rear.

Pics if you got 'em.
Thanks

I ran them on my 69 way back when. I think the brace was tweaked for clearance.

I've seen them on a 71 GTX, but no personal experience on the road.

Sorry no better pic, but these are 235/70R15. I had to use them with these wheels which had a little too much offset to use with 255/60's. They touched the corner of the fender in front.
