Ok so I don't want to buy another tank and I was wondering if anybody sells a bottle of something that you can flush in the tank and lines to get rid of any gunk or old gas?

If the car is running and driving put a can of Seafoam in it every fill up. Plan to do this for several fill ups. It cleaned Frankie out after several months. Plan to replace fuel filters and even take the carb off and apart to clean out the brown muck that could get into the bowls. After some time I had a clean system. When I got Frankie he had sat 4 years and you could smell rotton gas from 50 feet away.

Eastwood sells a kit to reseal your tank.  (Eastwood #10165 Z)  They recommend using muriatic acid and acetone for cleaning the tank out and etching it for better adhesion.   Maybe contact Eastwood for better directions.
