Many people find them to be the best because they are molded to the floor pan as well for extra rigidity.

Thanks I almost bought some straight ones at a swap meet for $100 but I would have to cut my floor pans.

Only thing that I didn't like is a lot of welding to install them. The do have a cleaner look & somewhat factory appeal.

I used them on my Charger, they're a close fit but require some final grinding to fit perfect up to the floor.

I bought a set from XV. Requires a LOT of grinding for my 68. How did you guys route your brake and fuel lines?

Yeah, I dont' think there's any other way to weld them completely without getting access to the top from cutting the pans.

Those are USCar tool subframe connectors and they work great.

Got a set on my 67

BTW if you install them plan on installing a rear sway bar if your Charger does not already have one.
These connectors will make your Charger extremely ridged.
Also keep in mind that you will need to remove the carpeting from the inside of your Charger so you do not set it on fire while welding the connectors in place.
Its also a good idea to have the body checked for straightness before installation.

Mine are welded about every inch and then covered with sealant to try to keep water from collecting in them when it rains.
I also plan on covering them with undercoating too.

Here are pictures of mine after installation.
