What is a good fire extinguisher in case of possible engine bay fire.

I was told that most common fire extinguishers are are very corrosive on copper.

Hemidog

I was told powder extinguishers make a hell of a cleanup job if you use it in your bay. It's also corrosive.
I went with a Foam one, but i guess people have different opinions on what's best.

I work on large yachts and install navigational electronics + AV system that cost over 200K we install Haloyron extinguishers by Amerex as they are noncorrosive and gas, not powder so no clean-up! :2thumbs: They are great for liquids & electrical and best of all they are chrome! Sorry they are not cheap :'(
