I vaguely remember seeing a picture in a magazine some time ago of a 68, 69 or 70 Charger that was made into a concept roadster (no top), had dual fuel fillers, and some other mods. Anyone have images of that car or information?  Thanks.

Nah..I couldnt do justice to a car like that. Too much fiberglass filling in the rear seat,:buff: making the nose seamless, etc. etc. :blahblah: :blahblah:
I think it is strange the cut down windshield. Never seen something like that.

Looks good from above, weird eye level though.

I have a piece off the fender of that car. The fenders were solid putty to get the shape. About 1/2 in. thick. The body shop I use to work for restored it.

Thanks everyone - I knew there were lots of pics out there.  I'm not going to clone it, but I have a customer that wants a roadster Charger, and I have one that needs every piece of sheetmetal, including a top, so I'm going to do something different.  Basically using a 70 body (minus hood, fenders, quarters, tailpanel, and top), I'm going to use a 68 front and tailpanel, cut to top off, keep the backseat unlike the supercharger, leave the windshield full height, lose the vent windows (and all other glass too), seriously reinforce the frame (subframes and x-bracing), etc.  The idea is to make it look like it came from the factory, so other than that, the interior and engine bay will look stock.  I've built 21 chargers over the last 4 years, it's time for something different.  Hope to get started in a month or so when a spot opens up in the shop.  Follow along at www.scotleaidolrods.com.  Thanks again.
