check mark trim sources?

I'm looking to replace my check mark trim pieces, and am looking for sources.  The car is not a show car, hopefully it will be a nice driver when finished, but of all the trim pieces, the check marks and SE badges are the only ones needing replacement right now...as I get the body and paint finished.  I've found a couple places that sell them online, but one was asking 150.00 each and the other was asking 100.00 each and wanted to know if that is a reasonable price for these repops.

Just adding up the parts costs for the interior, it looks like i'll be spending more than i have invested in the whole car just to redo the interior,  so any savings i can make on the trim is advisable.  (of course 800 - 1978 dollars may be worth more than 2k 2007 dollars.)

I got my repros from Gunslinger.  Top notch chrome and repro piece is exactly as the original with a beefed up post area which was the weak link to them on originals.  If I remember correctly, it was something around $150-200 or so for the pair.

From the looks of the links, the pieces have smooth studs, how do they tighten from behind?  I thought they'd be bolt on like some of the other pieces.  A light screw or nut? or some type of fancy clip?

a speed nut, is that one of those thin pieces of metal similar to the ones that tighten or hold the tail light lenses in place?

Anyone have a spare passenger side check mark trim they'll sell?  My drivers side is still intact and in decent shape.
