Will an MSD Blster 2 coil work with my stock ingnition on my 73 400 charger. I got it in a box of parts that came with the car and would rather use it over the stock coil if it is compatible.

i don't know if it would work on a stock points distributor. I have the same coil on a Petronix elec distributor and it works great (with MSD 6AL)

It is a 73, so it has the electronic ignition with a silver mopar box.

it should work as long as you don't have a stock points ignition(which i believe you stated above).
if you have a points ignition you would want to run a .8 ohm ballast resistor, and i'm sure summit/msd has those around too.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

No problemo....run it with the MP ignition system.  :2thumbs:

So, will a stock ballast resistor will work? I can just bolt it in and go?
