Ok, I installed a new cam in my 69 Coronet.  The car runs good, but there is some serious throttle hesitation.  It doesn't occur under gradual acceleration, only when I mash the gas for about a second before taking off.  The only thing I changed was the camshaft, and I installed it straight up.  The cam is significantly smaller than my last one if that has anything to do with it.  Thanks.

You need to re-adjust the carb for the new cam & most likely the timing/curve, what happened is you've changed the signal in the intake manifold when you changed cams ;)
