Found a motorcycle on kijiji.ca for myself. It's a 1966(from what I can tell from the limited info on this bike) Bridgestone 90 Deluxe. single cylinder air cooled with a 4 speed manual gearbox. tops out at 95kmh. I got it for 80 bucks and it's pretty much complete. the only major parts that it's missing that I'll have to find are the clutch and brake levers, the headlight assembly, and new cables. It is also missing the right brake pedal, taillight and signals(going with led's), and the rubber pads that slip over the foot pegs and gear selector are missing but those won't be to hard to find I could even make my own. I'm going to try and fix it up this winter which shouldn't be to hard I've got a sandblaster and a welder and most of the hand tools I'll need to fix the bike myself so It should be a fun project.

That's cool !  :icon_smile_cool: :icon_smile_cool:  Makes me want to find the old bike I had in 1966.  Ever heard of a Suzuki 250 X6 Hustler??    Bob

Not sure where you are located, but in Washington there are a few bike shops that sell used parts. Bent Bike and a few others, I don't have the names right now, bu they can be found via goggle if your close to there. I only plan to restore mine and show it then sell after having it been seen at a show. I'm almost 200 lbs again, I ride a WR450F w/mods, a bike like the B/S wouldn't hold up to my standards, ha-ha.

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

lol I weigh 205 on a good week(215 on a bad week lol) so this won't be a speed demon at all. should be a fun project over the winter although I really want to ride it now lol.

Are those pretty valuable? Looks to me like it would have some collector status. :shruggy:

I think their getting there seeing as the japanese government told them they couldn't make tires for their competitors and making bikes themselves so they stopped making bikes in 71.

lol training wheels...   anyone know where I can get some for a motorcycle? lol

You'd think since they only made it for a few years it would be somewhat valuable -- rare to say the least.

but remember bull these where mass produced. this thing has a stamped steel frame and pretty much every part I've taken off so far was produced in a way that you could make probably a thousand of these per day.

My Dad was a Harley guy but had one of those.  I remember it being bigger, it had an "H" kickstand and I put at least 100k miles on it while it was parked in the garage.  When he did start it, it had that distinctive "a ring a ding ding ding" sound that I'll always remember.  I thought I remember my Dad's having a rubber insert over those indents on the fuel tank on each side?

I think it's supposed to but mine never came with them.
