I didn't even know they had a flat chrome style.  Was the chrome flip top one also available past 71?

 `72-74 did not come factory with flip-top fuel doors!

you are correct they did NOT come FACTORY BUT I and so did a lot of other people put them on as they were available from the dealer to purchase!!
