water pump question

Pretty basic question.....Does anyone know how long the 7 bolts that are needed to put the water pump to the block need to be?  When I bought the engine the water pump was missing.  I know they are 3/8 bolts.  This is for a small block.  76' 360...

Well, I believe it actually depends on your accessory brackets like power steering pump and alternator brackets.
