The guy at my local radiator shop told me that my radiator was not the usual 1973 dodge charger radiator but a "factory upgrade". He said it was unique to cars with 440 interceptors or cop cars. The part # didn't appear in his book under '73. It looked like a '75 chrysler but larger fittings. Anyone ever heard of this. Whats the code?

He told me $400 to re-core it because copper is so high right now and only getting higher. If it is rare then I would pay that to have the factory look.

Ghoste

What is the part number on the rad?

Ghoste

A 28 inch, late 1973 rad used in Chargers, Coronets, and Satellites with 400 or 440 cid engines and maximum cooling packages according to an interchange book I have.
