BENCH TESTING THE STARTER

need help with bench testing a starter...procedures.......

Hook up the ground to the starter body and run power to the big terminal and cross to the little one. Jumper cables and a screw driver will work. All this will test is if the starter motor and bendix works. If you need to check the amps you will need a load tester.

or you can take it to local napa/schucks and they will test it for you
