Adding an electric fan...

I just bought a new radiator and since I am thinking about it, I guess I will ask the pro's.  I plan to keep my belt-driven fan but would adding an electric to the front of the radiator help it any with cooling?  Technically, I would have to mount a fan onto the AC Condensor, but it should flow the air thru that and to the radiator.  Is this a good idea?

Also, what would be the pro's and con's to just wiring up the fan to turn on when the ignition is on instead of wiring a sensor to it?  I was thinking about this and I can't think of a bad reason that will cause me from not doing it.

ppl do it down here, both fans, belt driven and electrical. Works good.... and also electric fan on condensor helps on cooler A/C inside. I don't see why not to install it. Except if you want to keep stock look like me ;D

is_it_EVER_done?

I have two 10" pusher fans on the front of my condenser in my 69 300 vert. I did this not because it ran hot, but to drastically improve my A/C performance since I like my cool air while tooling around town with the top down. I use a micro switch to turn them off at about 1/4 throttle, but I guess it wouldn't hurt anything if they were on all the time. I also sprayed them flat black so they are invisible through the grill.
