New 14" Cragars for 69- is backspace not enough?

I may have be able to get a good deal on a 14" Cragars which are in new condition for the rear of my 69 Charger.  The only issue is the backspacing- it is 3.5" which puts the wheel and tire wwaayyy out in the fender- just about touching the lip.  I don't have a set of tires on them yet, so I can't get the true effect.  Anybody have any pics of 2nd gens with these size wheels with tires monuted? The tires would either be 245 60R14 or 265 50R14- if I can find an old set.

Sorry, don't know how i forgot that, the rims are 14x8.

If space is your question? I have 18x9.5 with a 5" BS and there's an inch to spare on each side! The tire is a 285/40 Nitto. I know this not the type of wheel you are looking at but with a 1.5" less rim + 1.5" less BS, it should have the same about the space on the outside as my car!
