Engine not running right

I have a 68 Charger with a a stock 383. When the weather warmes up her in So. Cal the engine runes a Little hotter but well within normal limits. When I take off from a light the engine falls flat and stalls. It always starts back up. I'm thinking vapor lock but how could i rule this out. It doesn't have this problem when its cold out.

you could be rich or lean on the accelerator circuit , try adjusting for more fuel squirt

definitely sounds like the squirter...change the cam (and by that I mean the plastic cam lobe on the throttle body swing-arm from a holley for example.

Its a stock carter carburetor, How do you adjust the squirter

you buy the Eddy squirter kit , remove the top of the carb & install the large squriter in the kit , you only have one to choose from
