were can i buy these pieces??  the pieces were rusted onto the roof - it was hard getting them off - i bent them too much - not sure i get them straight again.  1974 dodge charger

A beer bottle opener works very slick to remove those without bending.

Those drip rail moldings are available repro, & have been for some time now. I've never installed the repros, so I'm not totally sure about fit. I have seen them, & they do look nice.

they are for a 1974 dodge charger - who has them as repros???

Whoa, I better cut back on the coffee. Thought they were for a '68-'70 Charger, '74's are NOT available to the best of my knowledge.
Scrounge eBay, MCG, Hemmings, & local swaps. Or, place a FREE wanted ad here on this 'site!

EDIT - Found the gen 2 ones at the Paddock under SKY DQM2
And to contribute to the thread, don't throw those out just yet, it is amazing what can be done to restore bent up trim.  As long as it isn't split anywhere and it isn't too badly rusted.
1968 Charger -currently spread all over my garage!

Who can restore them??

Who can restore them??
I was thinking that you could
First you'll need some instructional literature.  A good book is "Project Charger: The Step-by-Step Restoration of a Popular Vintage Car" by Larry Lyles.  Yes, it was done on a 70 Charger but there is a chapter on trim restoration and if that doesn't give you enough detail I found a book  that talks about nothing but automotive trim restoration: "How to Restore Metal Auto Trim" by Jeff Lilly.
I haven't read the second book yet so I can't vouch for its usefulness. But it looks promising so far.
The specialty tools you'll need can be found at Eastwoodco.com and other places and are very simple.
Give it a try, what have you got to lose?  :yesnod:
