This is what I used:

Really good stuff. I had no problems to convert from drums to discs.

There is a crowd over here, that can help you out. A mate brought a kit for his 74 Chal, and said it was a good deal  :2thumbs:.

I went with the mpbrake kit.  Good quality, very reasonable, 14" rims fit with the calipers, and I can use the factory sway bar.  This kit was for my 69, but would be almost identical.  Not sure about the sway bar on the 68.  I got my kit through this ebay store, and is the mpbrake kit.  They were easy to work with also.  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mopar-B-and-E-body-disc-brake-conversion-kit-Cuda-Hemi_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34199QQihZ013QQitemZ230149046879QQtcZphoto

They look very nice, but with a pretty hefty price tag. I am not familiar with their product and do not know anyone to have used it.

That clears it up. :smilielol: Six replies, five different opinions. :2thumbs: I'll add to the confusion by telling you about my preference: http://www.moparaction.com/Tech/archive/disc-main.html

I agree that the pricetag is  high, but it seems to be really good stuff, that includes hoses, mainsylinder that works on the servopump rather than vacuum, etc, so it is a rally nice kit!
I will have one!!!

I think Summit has gotten into the game now. Take a look there...

I use the Volare' , Diplomat, etc. factory spindles bearings, discs, prop. valve and so on. Nothing wrong with the system and there is NO BUMP STEER.... A few of the mopar magazines did articles saying DON'T USE THIS AND THAT. It's  :icon_bs:. One even recommended using the pin style over the slider style. In my not so humble opinion I say that is bull shit too.... I have done hundreds of brake jobs over the years and have seen many bent pins. When you have bent pins you HAVE a deflection problem. When you have deflection you are NOT using the full pads against the rotors. This is very dangerous. you will not have propper braking power OR even braking side to side or front to back.

The slider style calipers are a pound or two heavier, but WILL NOT DEFLECT..  Also if you use the Volare etc. spindles and rotors you CAN use 14" wheels... It's a win, win sichiasion...   :2thumbs:

thank you for the respose ,i am a little confussed now   :shruggy: were would be a repratable  company, or person who would sell the complete  bake kit with all the fittings to change the drum front to disc and send to australia  and  the brake kit  is to suit a very neat cruizer when finished
