Tic-Toc-Tach doesn't fit gauge cluster - wrong clock?

I picked up a TicTocTach at a swap meet, it looks fine, but the knob to set the clock is too short - it doesn't protrude through the lens cover on my 69 cluster.  Could this be from a different year?  It bolted right in, fits perfect, just can't adjust the clock.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.

Hot 68 is probley on the right track. There should be some threads on the end of the shaft and the adj. knob should thread on thru the lens..
If there is no threads going to need a new shaft..
Best of luck.

The adjuster shaft is there, it's just about an inch too short.  Is there a know that goes through the lens?  I've never seen that.
