I have a friend with a 69 RT/SE 4 speed, he bought it out of a field in 96 in present condition and sent it to a resto shop yesterday. Car was green with black top and saddle tan interior. He will be buying a lot of goodmark parts...
Hates old green, Wants to go back aqua,  any pics of aqua with saddle tan?

Just 6T9 CHGR

Sorry no pics.

You could get a tan interior though with the Q5.  It was on the "not recommended but acceptable" list in the color trim availability chart.  I only have 3 cars with such a combo.  One is an SE with tan leather

Now thats a side stripe that i have never seen before.  What a great field find!  :coolgleamA:

The stripe is cool. I like it. Kind of like the DMCL stripe.

The stripe and wing, I bet it had air shocks.  A through back to the 70s,  Great find.

Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .

Nice! How much of it's original drivetrain does it still have?

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

If you want my two cents -  :Twocents: :Twocents:  - I totally LOVE the Dark Green with Saddle Gut and Black Vinyl Top - - THAT'S A VERY SHARP (Rich Looking) COLOR COMBO!!!  Here's more two cents  :Twocents: :Twocents: for a total of 4 cents!

Now this is coming from a guy who wanted to change his original color - - but after SO MANY PEOPLE compliment it - - I couldn't change it or they WOULD'VE BEEN PISSED. (LL1 Dark Turquoise/white top/white gut).

I don't believe the drive train is numbers matching :'(
TUFCAT If I can show him a great picture of the original color combo with some shine and clearcoat I may be able to change his mind. Anybody?

You're 100% right.  I'm telling you..... I think he would change his mind if he could visualize it  (or see one like it).  The 1969 Dark Green is beautiful, especially with the saddle tan (SE Leather Interior which it has) - -  an absolutely gorgeous combo!!!  In fact, some people would pass over other equally restored Chargers (in more popular hues) just to look at this one!!!

I like it, .....like it, ....LOVE IT!!   :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:

I'm not usually right....., but I think others will agree - -  I AM THIS TIME!   :2thumbs:  'Caus I'd give my right (and left) to own this car.  :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big: :icon_smile_big:  Its also a stripe delete R/T  :icon_smile_tongue: - - with a 4-speed  :drool5: :drool5: :drool5:

The RT 4 speed is Lee's dream car and I'm trying to keep him excited about getting it done, it has sat for too long. I'm trying to keep suggesting he go back original BUT That green was a very common color and many of us would see it on a ragged out beater looking bad. Other colors stand out more, many people are repulsed by the green -if done well it can look good but there are definately some people who would disagree. I had this SE below and the paint had faded. My yellow car to the left (my user pic) was also originally this color with a saddle tan interior (now black)

I disagree.   The green is cool.      I'm not knockin' ya for changing it ...its your car man!  :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:
