Ripped My Vinyl Top Off

Heres a few questions for you guys that have done this before. I know about drilling the spot welds out around the edges, but what about at the pillars? I was looking at my car and I don't see any seams at the front (A pillars?) or and rear pillars (B pillars?). And also when I drill out the spot welds on the donor roof there are going to be holes all along the edges...Do you have to fill them or do you leave them and make the new spot welds where the holes aren't?
