Well, after nearly 6 weeks of keeping quite, They are now avail.
With shipping to begin late next week. An all new fan shroud that fits the much sought after 1969 B-bodies with the 22" 2949053 radiator Original shroud part number is 2949130 . It also fits SOME c-bodies with standard cooling.

Also as a bonus, If used with the correct adapter brackets used on the 1969 radiators it allows it to be used as a replacement for the even harder to find metal shrouds used on 1966 thru 1968 B-bodies with 22" radiators. Considering how hard the shrouds are to find for the earlier cars, this may come in handy for some.

Mention you saw it here and I'll include the 4 special flange nuts to attach it to the radiator.

Pm me for pricing or questions with specific details.

I also would like to thank Doug Hammer aka 69coronetRT for taking the time and effort to remove the one on his car. His was used for the actuall tooling purposes.

It's guys like this that are getting harder to find in this day and time.
Thanks Doug.

This is excellent news!

You know I'll be needing one at one point, along with the brackets and nuts.  I found a 053 radiator a few months back that is sitting in the garage waiting to get re-cored.

Thanks guys!

Bill,

That is great to hear.  It offers me a nice option should my car start to run hot since my car never came with a fan shroud.  Do you have the metal brackets that get mounted onto the radiator also?

What is the application for this rad #2898038

Originally 273 or 318 in a 1968 B-body with Automatic, heater only, no A/C.
1971 Charger R/T, 440 H.P., Auto, A/C Daily Driven (till gas went nuts).  NOW IN CARS FOR SALE SECTION: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,48709.0.html
1969 Charger 318/Auto (latest addtion): http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,31948.0.html
*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

Would this shroud work for my 383, re-cored to 3 row,it works now w/2 row a little hot but not too hot.in a 2898038

gtx6970

Well, I've been notified they WILL work on all 1966 thru 1969 B + C body radaitors both big and small block engines  BUT you must use the 1969 B-body style brackets to mount it, also avail.

brackets are priced at $70
shrouds are priced at $169

Yes

tommymac

How do I order both, also where do I get a good clutch fan for the same 383.

gtx6970

Well, I just got in the first batch of shrouds, I have to say they look great. Nice and smooth and not to glossy which is the problem I have on the preveiously done shrouds.

Job well done.

to order call me or pm me here.

Thanks again to Doug Hammer aka 69coronetrt
