How can I find a intake at the junkyard????????????????????????

  I need a 4bbl  intake for a 400 bb motor for a 72 charger how can I tell at the yard what will fit? any #s or anyway to identify it?

there are quite a few different #'s for intakes that fit a 400 engine the best thing to do is measure across the front of the intake next to the valley pan rail.
