Damn- missed MSGT by ten points...

Results for MSgt (E-7) came out today.  Out of 287 elegible in my career field, only 71 made the cutoff.  I was NOT one of them.  in fact, out of the 216 that didn't make it- I was 62nd in that line that didn't make the cut.  I missed the cutoff score by a lousy TEN points.

I'll definitely make it up next February, when I test again for the third try.  I've got to begin studying for the two tests as early as October, if I'm going to make it next time.

God I hate this crap!

Hang in there Bradley!  It took me 3 times to make Chief.  It will come for sure, just do your job as always and the rest will fall into place.
As my dad would say(retired CMSGT 32 years)  "Keep the Faith Son" (his fathers favorite saying....i know this cause he adds that every time he says it to me)

Crap, he still says it to me and i'm retired now.
