I watch it, & I cursed at the TV when the screen went black.  :smilielol:

My satellite receiver on one TV has gone out several times in the last week, so I too, thought the same thing happened. I remember when the last episode of Seinfeld aired, someone sabatoged a local cable TV company's feed during the last 10 minutes of the show. It made the front page locally, which was funnier than Seinfeld's show.

As for the Sopranos last episode, I was disappointed. Not that they didn't have everyone get whacked, or arrested, just that the way they ended it seemed kind of lame. Definitely not what I expected.  :shruggy:

There's room for a sequel or a continuation though.  :D

David Chase and Gandolfini have both said NO MORE, THAT'S IT! So we'll see.

I think the idea was that you have the ending YOU envision, The ending YOU want to see.

Pretty interesting concept, My wife read that they actually filmed 3 DIFFERENT endings that fit in that time period! Just to keep everyone guessing.

WHen the last season is released on DVD, I'll have to rent that one just to see those, cause SURELY they will be included.

One of my favorite shows and I hated to see it end. They left so many loose ends which I suspect will carry over to the rumor about the movie. On the other hand, perhaps the whole family was actually wacked in the restaurant and going to black was a very subtle way to say it. You know, like the old saying "do you know what it's like after you die? Just like before you were born."

I'm kinda glad it ended the way it did, the suspense had me on the verge of a heart attack.

If the restaurant scene would have just faded in classic Hollywood style you'd still not know if the various characters were hitmen; if each of the possible hitmen had been eliminated before the ending you'd still not know if there was a Phil loyalist out there bent on revenge.

I thought the scene with Paulie and Tony sitting in front of the Pork Store was going to be the defining moment.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I'm still digesting the ending, but regardless, I am certainly going to miss them on Sunday nights!  It was a great run!

Last season sucked. This season was no better with a couple rare exceptions. The finale blew. At least they were consistent.
