Windshield Wiper Arms - 74 Charger

I am in the process of installing the wiper arms on my 74 charger, and need help with which one goes where.  Does the single wiper arm go on the driver side and the double arm to the passenger side.  Also, there is a little retaining clip on the double wiper arm - where does this attach to?  If anyone has any pictures that would be appreciated.  Thanks..

The double one goes on the driver's side. There's a smaller stud near the pivot on the driver's side. This is where the skinny second piece attaches; the clip holds it on to this stud.

Stupid question...but do they just slide on - I tried doing that but they are real tight...

You need to flip the base that plugs on pivot and lift a latch located inside. this system allows you ( or not ) to remove/install the wiper arm since is a locking system.

I opened the latch on the underside of the arm, but it is still tight - is that normal and should I just tap it in place?  thanks
