....So, I took the Charger into work the other day for her last ride before a little shop time.  Nothing special, but just thought I'd post a couple of pics on the pass I drive to work everyday.  It's pretty simple by our standards (only about 9,500 ft), but it is still fun  :yesnod:  It's cool to watch the storms roll in over the mountains too.  She's in the garage now, as she is getting front power disc brakes, a new steering box, and high torque starter.  I may install new valve springs, too, but I will see how it goes.  I am hoping to have her finished and down to the shop for an alignment next week.  It's cool how smooth a Charger looks no matter what the environment  :yesnod:

The tail panel and hood inserts are hard to describe.  They are actually painted red and white, with this crazy dark maroon marbled effect over the top.  On the hood inserts, they are accented with a stripe the same color as the tail.  People really love it or really hate it, but It's kind of got that 60's & 70's "groovy" thing going on  :P

At some point, I will take her back down to the bare metal and start over, but I have grown really attached to the yellow.  Right now I'm busy upgrading the mechanical  :yesnod:

You are correct sir  :icon_smile_big:  It's Poncha Pass, which is pretty tiny at only a touch over 9,000', but many of the Peaks you can see in the shots are at or over 14,000'.  My house is at 8,000', so I am still putting together a plan for forced induction........I need more air ;)

WTF???   PONCHA PASS??   Where are you at??   I live in Buena Vista, 20 miles from Poncha Pass!   :o

I was telling my wife when I saw the pic that it looked like Poncha, but I was like.... na'... it can't be....  LOL!
