Havn't updated in a few weeks on the progress of the car.  Mainly for 2 reasons, 1 because I have been REALLY busy.  Working a shutdown at a paper mill about an hour from my house.  Put in 52 hours last week and scheduled to have about 90 in this week.  And the 2nd reason.... because there really hasn't been any progress on the car....  Until yesterday.  Dad found 3 engines, 2 of them are 400's and one is a 383, that has been "Spiced" up.  One of the 400's is in good condition just has a broken timing chain on it.  Guy wants $100 for it.  And the other is still in ok shape and he wants $225 for it.  The 383 has been completley rebuilt.  Bored out 30 over, pushes 365 HP, got a new Holly 4 barrel and a new starter on it.  The guy that rebuilt it is DAMN good at engine work.  His name is John McClemore and he had a job offer to build the blocks for Joe Gibbs racing.  He turned it down because he said he would get bored just building blocks all the time...  The 383 is a little more expensive...  Only $2,300...  We are getting all 3 engines and the 383 is going in the Charger.  We also found 2 more bulge hoods and a standard Charger scoop hood in the area.  The guy that has one of the bulge hoods and the scoop hood, says that he wont sell the bulge hood.  He keeps hinting around that he wants the 383 out of the 71' Newport Deluxe that we have.  If it means us getting my bulge hood then hell, he can have it.  We sure as hell don't need it!  Honestly we dont really need a new hood, but it does have a good bit of rust on it.  And the other hood is in great shape...  Well that is what has been going on lately.  Dad is going to pull the 58' Willy's out of the shop this week and move the Charger in to start work.  Oh and anyone have any suggestions with what we should do with all the glass?  We dont want to keep it in the car in case we accidentaly break it.
