No kidding!  I was in heaven.  That gold car is a factory 383, pistol grip car with a green interior.  How is that for odd / rare?  :yesnod:

Ahhh!  There we go!  I walked up to it and thought "cool SS clone!".  Then read the plaque and almost fell over.  Just looks nasty to see in person.  Talk about a lot of motor in a tiny car.  Crazy Chrysler!  :o  :icon_smile_cool:

Hey Nupe....Thanks for the compliment! After talking to you at the show I came on over here to join in too. Nice talking to you too, pretty knowledgable on your Chargers! By the way I have a good drawing of an airgrabber plumbing etc. somewhere, if you're interested I can look for it and email it or post it. It is pretty good, showing all the vacuum lines, (colours I think too) and how they are all routed. I'm pretty sure it clearly shows there is nothing electrical involved in your setup. I'll post some pics of the car show soon but I have to resize em.

HELLO MOPAR FANS.      THIS IS MY 1ST TIME VISITING DODGECHARGER.COM AND JUST WANTED TO THANK ALL THE PARTICIPANTS IN OUR 1ST ANNUAL ALL MOPAR CAR SHOW AT BLOUIN MOTORS IN AUGUSTA MAINE !! I MUST SAY THAT I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE TURNOUT AS WE HAD APPROXIMATELY 141 PARTICIPANTS AND BY THE FEDBACK AND E-MAILS THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED DURING AND AFTER THE SHOW THAT IT WAS A SUCCESS ! THE WEATHER WAS AWESOME (IN THE LOW TO MID 70'S) AND WE HAD DON BROWN , A LOCAL RADIO DJ , ENTERTAIN US WITH GREAT MUSIC AND FUN TRIVIA GAMES FOR THE GIVEAWAYS. WE ALSO HAD MR CHARLES IZZI AND HIS STUDENTS FROM THE CAPITAL AREA TECHNICAL CENTER GRILLING UP BURGERS AND SERVING REFRESHMENTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL. WE ALSO HAD A DUNK TANK THAT THE OWNER OF THE DEALERSHIP SPENT SOME TIME GETTING WET IN. THE SHOW WAS A FREE ADMISSION SHOW THAT WAS JUDGED BY 5 VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE JUDGES (JIM AMBROSE, JIM SIROIS, MARC SMITH, CHUCK SMITH, AND DENIS PATENAUDE) AND WE HAD 14 CLASSES PLUS BEST OF SHOW AND PEOPLES CHOICE.
I AM THE OWNER OF THE BUTTERSCOTCH 71 DODGE CHARGER SUPER BEE THAT IS AMONG THE PICS OF OUR ALL MOPAR CAR SHOW LISTED ON THIS SITE. I DID NOT WANT MY CAR JUDGED....BUT I WISHED I HAD THE TIME TO AT LEAST PUT MY NAME ON A CARD AND STICK IT ON THE W/SHIELD AT THE SHOW.
AGAIN.....THANKS FOR ALL THOSE THAT ATTENDED !!!

Thanks Rick and all the others at Blouin who helped.   :yesnod:  That was a great turn out for a firsst show.  Next year should be pretty incredible and you might need a bigger lot.

It was great being amongst all the third gen cars.

Boy that looks like a great show. One of the reason I blew off Monster Mopar Weekend is because it is so darn big. I all most died when I went in 2002, just to darn hot and to much walking. 140 or so Mopar sounds about right.

SS Hemi Dart, how did it feel standing in front of a $250,000.00 Plus Mopar? Seats are from a Dodge van, side window's are plactic and you use a strap to pull them up. 11's out of the box and no warranty. Man, those where the days. ;D

PS, weclome to the site Rick hope to see you here all the time.
