I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

what do you think the MAX it is worth? Im bidding on it right now.........

BigBlockSam

thats a very hard question , without seeing the car in person .you don't know how the work was done. no plug no operating headlights . engine compartment has to be painted and its a 318 in it . to me . the price is maxed out already . i'm sure they want alot more . Rene

5 K , 318 , ON THE COLUMN , GET REAL !!!!!!!!!!!!

It appears to be a clean car to start with if you were planning to go all the way to replicate the Superbird.  By that I mean, the nose cone issue with the head lights, the window plug, & other details. It's at $17K right now, but the color combo will attract attention & may get a few more dollars. Personally, if the work on the car is decent, like the interior, body, & paint, I think it might be a $20K car. More accuracy & a 440 would easily make it $30K plus. Not that I'd pay that, but that seems to be where the bidding & prices have been.

Other than the 318 & the head light issue, I like it. If I didn't buy '70 Road Runner I'd be intersted in it. Of course we all know you have to crawl through it to be sure it's as solid as the pics make it look.

I see the seam where the fender & nose meet, that's not what you are reffering to, is it? Or do you mean the shape & curve of the nose matching up with the fender? That doesn't look perfect, but neither do the originals.

I do see some bubbles under the vinyl, that can get scary if it goes way up into the roof.   :o

The wing isn't sagging & he stated it's fiberglass.

yea the drivers side nose to fender  looks funky. if you want your clone to get any kind of repect from mopar guys , the fit has to be better than the originals. to be slaped together at the factory is history . Rene

I bid too, but it's at way too high a price. Oh well. He did a decent attempt though, looks good.

Way too high a price?
I think it's just about right at 22k now, I'd pay that if it's solid.
Your going to spend at least that and 6 months of your time to build one even on a satellite.
I know I've built two.

That's a bit much!
I figure my RR based bird clone is worth $35k and it's all clean california metal, rear plug ,rotisseried and all new 440, 4spd etc..done!
