How quick is a Dakota 5.9 R/T?

Wondering if anyone knows how quick these trucks are? 1/4 mile times, top end, etc.

I saw a guy with a 1997 dakota 5.9 rt in epping, NH this summer run a 15.329 in the quarter mile.  I have a 5.2 lt 318 dakota that does a 15.235 quarter

I dont know the times,but real life experience from driving one,they are actually kind of slow,good midrange and low end power,but not the rocket that you would think-i had one for a demo when they came out in the late 90s,and a v6 5 speed s-10 felt faster,just my 2 cents

my v8 dakota screws.  It gets up to speed quick, but it's not faster than the ferrari

I have a 4 door dakota v8 4x4 and I love it.  Its faster than my 350 89 Chevy pickup ever was that I got rid of for this truck
