Cleaning Rubber and Glass of Overspray

I just picked up two new vent windows and frames for my 69 Charger.  The chrome is much better than my original but one of them has a little bit of paint oversprayed on it.  Now I did use some #0000 super fine steel wool to remove the paint from the chrome and it worked great.  However, i am worried that the steel wool will scratch the glass.  I have read that it is actually meant for cleaning glass but has anyone here used it on glass?  And how about the rubbers on the doors and such?  Whats the best way to clean rubber?  Tire Cleaner?

ive used 0000 steel wool to clean windows before. just dont PUSH on it, just run it over the top. on the rubber they make rubber cleaners that can remove that. or you could use lacquer thinner on a rag just follow the first rag with the thinner on it with a dry towel to rub off the excess. then rinse it off with water

The easiest way to remove overspray from glass  is just scraping it with a razorblade. I did collision work before I started working at a tint shop and this is how everyone cleans it. You just can't scrape window tint like that of course.

As for rubber, if etching tire cleaner and hard scrubbing doesnt cut it, try lacquer thinner or acetone. And if that don't get it, your just out of luck there. Last time I ran into that problem I took the rubber pieces off and spraypainted them with semi flat spray can paint. Wouldn't be right on a total restoration, but it worked for me.
